Ahoi !
The most important thing which I would need doesn't work: Mails are not sent when something is changed... I.e a task is assigned to a member but when another changes it the member doesn't get an announcement.
The mail function in joomla works because mails are sent when somebody new registeres on my site ....
What is interesting is that also in flyspray the mail function did not work
I have no error message or something like that. Is there perhaps a error file where something is stored concerning e-mail output from the system!?

i logged into your system and it appears (perhaps) the issue was related to not having any managers assigned to projects. we assigned some... let us know if this works.

I have the same problem, my joomla emails work fine using the smtp server settings but i dont get any email coming from taskhopper - what should i do to change this?

Ok, in the absence of a response, (hey I know you might be on holiday) I looked through the scripts on this trying to find out how the mail function works - i cant see the php $mail command so how is it porting email notifications out. I see the parsing it does with template files but whic file pushes out the emails and how is it done - i wanted to check compatibility with my mail server set up. (Even though my joomla emails work fine)
Anyone know anything about this?

Looks like its the mail() command failing to work with the smtp gateway. I'm looking at smtp class and or pear to solve this.
