Long filenames in attachements - 2007/07/18 15:20
Dear people, I like the TH software a lot. Congratulations to the makers!! But today I ran into a problem with attachements. I could upload files into a project and the files were shown, but I coud not open them again online. The file size was marked (0 K).
It took e some time to figure out what caused the problem but then I found that long filenames caused the problem. The attachements database has 2 fields to store the file names (orig_name and file_name) and one of these is only 30 characters long. I have changed this field length to 100 and now this works perfect. Hope this info is helpful for future releases and for other users running into the same problem.
