I modified the Projects admin page so it would fit within a Joomla front-end template. (Basically, I had to arrange it so each project was on 3 rows instead of 1. (I'm not a big fan of giving access to the backend if it's not necessary... So managing projects from the front-end was KEY!)
Then, I had to modify it so that non-super admin users could view projects, I use Jacl-Plus so I created a group for project managers, and such.
I also modified the report options so they fit within the joomla template as well, however there is no option to print them once they appear. Still working on that.
Feel free to contact me via PM if you would like copies of the modifications.
So my users can now Create / Edit projects from the front end, and Create / Edit tasks from the front end as well. Plus, they can run reports for themselves, and managers can run companywide reports.
One request though would be for the reports to be more detailed, so that you could see which department, etc the timelogs go towards. I work for a non-profit agency that has to report to many different funding sources!
Oh, and permissions are a bit awkward when creating new projects, but I'm working on that.
Overall great product, can't wait to see what else develops!

I have installed JACLPlus... are there modifications to TH files now to make users able to edit TH content in the front-end?

1) I would love to have a frontend access to project-adding etc. for the users!! Please make a link here where one could download your great sounding modifications (don't find your private messaging (PM) thing !!!
2) A great feature would be also to have the projects listed in the module box to see which projects are there!
3) The last thing I would love to have is the possibility to allow jusers to view all topics and assign them to themselves if open! (Best would be with two access levels: some selected users may see and assign to intern projects and tasks and unauthorized users only see the projects and tasks that are for everyone out there !)

I'm desperate to get the mods to allow front end additions of projects. Without front end access I can't use what looks like a great component. I don't see how to PM you Natrix.
