Can Taskhopper run in Windows? |

Taskhopper is a collection of computer code written in a scripting language called PHP which runs on a server, most commonly, a Linux server. In addition, Taskhopper is designed to be a Joomla component, therefore Taskhopper requires that Joomla be installed.
So, can Taskhopper run on a Windows server? Technically, it's possible to install Joomla on a Windows server. However, we've not yet met a Joomla webmaster who did this. But if you do find one, or if you are one, then yes, Taskhopper will run just fine on Windows.
The real answer: A Joomla/Taskhopper installation is 99.9% of the time, on a Linux host.
