The idea behind Taskhopper is that many people can use it at the same time. If the entire thing was on your laptop, then we couldn't achieve this. So to use Taskhopper "on your laptop" you'll need to have it installed on a server first. Then, using Firefox or Internet Explore, you and hundreds of others can all use Taskhopper on your collective laptops.

If you don't know how to install applications on a server, then you'll need to find someone to help with that. It's *very* easy to do and costs little. If you have ever installed a copy of Windows, then you are qualified to install Taskhopper. (An experienced webmaster can get Taskhopper installed, configured and ready to run in under 30 minutes)
