First Time Here?

If you are here for the first time... Welcome!

Taskhopper Dingo is a Joomla 1.5 native component that is designed for anyone who wants to manage clients, projects and tasks. Dingo is a full rewrite of Taskhopper, the Joomla 1.0.x component that was so good it was forked more than once! (Reloaded is our recommendation) We just released Dingo this year and we're full speed ahead on making it better, not bigger. Dingo will ALWAYS be a simple/fast method of managing projects. Dingo is a license-based, FULL open source product (no encryption/obfuscation). If you have any questions, we're here.  (Michigan, Budapest and Targu Mures, Romania)

Dingo Zoltan Published PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 02 July 2009 14:06

We have uploaded Dingo 1.5.7 Zoltan to the download area.

Update: We have noticed a small issue with Joomla 1.5.12 because of a change they made to the editor.   In the Dingo editor window you will see a Toggle Editor button.  In Joomla 1.5.11 that doesn't appear but in .12, it does.    If you toggle it, it will turn off the buttons which effectively makes it a text window.     The buttons in the editor window are normally centered -- in J1.5.12 they are left justified.    However, even with all this, everything still works.

Zoltan was released just as .12 was coming out so if you happen to notice anything else, please drop us a note.   We'll figure out what changes Joomla made and get the next release out soon.

Another update/FYI: Dingo is not making the editor look differently in Joomla 1.5.12.   This is what happens when you upgrade.   Here's what the editor looked like in 1.5.11 and here it is in 1.5.12.    If you want to get the new editor looking like the old one... read here

MOVE TO NEW SERVER -- DONE PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 23 June 2009 15:47

Sorry for the delay in getting things back online.  As of June 30th at 3:07PM EST we are officially on a new server.   You shouldn't notice anything different -- except perhaps some higher uptime.   We had some problems with our previous hosting company and decided last week to pull everything over.

We're making some final tests to be certain everything is working again.

Sorry again for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Zoltan update to follow in a few minutes...

The next version of Dingo is going to be released next week.   The official date is the 23rd of June however we've been known to miss that by a day or two if testing turns up anything at the last minute.

So far, we have made 36 changes to Rudolph and are currently looking for any Dingo 1.5.5 users that would like to help us test.   No database changes are required so all that's required is a straight copy over existing.  We don't recommend you put this over a production site, unless you're ok with the chance of restoring.  (We will publish the list of changes later today)

This offer is open to anyone who is running 1.5.5.  If your subscription is expired, we'll extend it if you provide feedback.   As we type, we're running preliminary tests on the latest updater package.  If you're interested, drop us a note.  (if you don't normally contact us, make sure you send your request using the email address that you used to create your Dingo account)

As always, thanks for your support!
